Being raised on a commercial hog farm, Lee developed a passion for raising purebred Durocs in 1976. Lee and Wade both share the same passion for raising purebred Duroc hogs. Though we have raised multiple breeds throughout the mid 2000's, when Wade moved home from college in the Fall of 2014, we decided to focus strictly on Durocs. Our herd consist of 25 Duroc sows, focusing on raising competitive show pigs and high meat quality Duroc and Berkshire hogs utilizing the reach back program. The reach back program consists of using old line genetics, frozen semen, and modern genetics to raise breeding stock to sell to customers that want to utilize Durocs and Berkshires to make a premium pork product.
